A darn close to final version of the six characters from Pluto Outline needed to reproduce the aforementioned wordmark. And no, the wordmark is not “ironman” … this is only a test setting.

I’ve been playing around with various fills to check the alignment of the shape layers … and to get a little bit of seventies groove on.

It's come along quite well. Any specific uses in mind?

Outside of reproducing the wordmark for a friend, I will be finishing off the rest of the character set. The source material I have only includes uppercase, lowercase, numerals, and minimal punctuation. I’ll need to extrapolate all of the diacritics, symbols, and other standard glyphs from the basic character set.

Hmmm … I wonder what other treasures we can unearth from the depths of the cavernous Letraset compendium?

Dude, this is WAY rad. Love the black & white version.

Thanks Patrick. The final face will be constructed in layers, so you’ll be able to change the colour of each stroke and fill object. I should have a more complete character set ready to show the world very soon.

Hey Grant, I have just been looking for Pluto Outline myself. Did you ever finish your digitised version?

I have been working on it (ever so slowly) … the plan to have a complete character set based on the original Letraset dry transfer sheet finished in the next month or so. After that, I’d like to extrapolate as many of the remaining characters as possible.
