Hey Dribble,
Here with some desktop scenes for India’s leading trading platform: Upstox.
Designing for a whole new market, we had to constantly question our assumptions about good design.
We learned that while we’ve been taught to only show the most important information, Indians want all the information available.
Here trading is typically done on desktop. There, it’s almost entirely done on mobile.
These differences led us to build mobile apps with much higher information density than a typical project for us.
Even so, there was still a desire for more. Which led us to the web app.
The Upstox web experience provides as much information as possible. It’s a dream for heavy traders and chart lovers alike.
And because all of Upstox’s are based on one universal user account, context switching from desktop to mobile is seamless.
