I'm trying to add a subtle language switch (site will only use Dutch/English) for the website www.siranthonyvandijck.be and I would appreciate some feedback! The overstate will ‘light’ up and the other state will be ‘Nederlands’ with the arrow pointed to the left.

in this mockup it is very subtle. pay attention to your audience and make some adjustments. I know for instance my father, or anyone modestly over a certain age might not notice it.
maybe something coming down from the very top of the page and a little darker?

I agree with matt - that switch is just too subtle on that particular background. It needs to be noticeable - it might work as is if it were on the left side of your header (more prominent).
