The only thing that looks a little off for me is the clouds on the left as they don't look like they are wrapping around the planet and the little snow peak at the top of the planet :)
Shouldn't the edges on africa's borders be facing up on the parts that are over the middle of the globe? Kinda? These http://d.pr/zsxr don't look like they're in "compliance(!?!?)". What a bad formulation (hope you understand), lol, love it otherwise!
And although you're going for a cartoony feel, i think that you should dedicate more space in between poor Ethiopia and Saudi Arabia, since you already put a crack in there anyway :)
I always draw the globe from the African side :)..love it..the note about a a greener middle&south Africa worth to be cosidered..look up a satellite map ..other than that excellent:)

fantastic! though i believe that africa isn't completely desert. as you move towards the center and bottom, it becomes gradually greener.
