I'm chuffed to tell the Valentine's Day stamps I designed for the Finnish Post are now out!
The set I designed is called Friendship Stories and it consists of five different stamps. I created them in Spring 2021 under the never ending London lockdown. I was still new to the city and the weather was gray, I couldn't leave my apartment much and I missed my friends in Finland.
These gloomy circumstances made me truly kick back and create illustrations that celebrate friendship in full color. I owe so much to my friends and they are the inspiration behind these designs.
It makes me happy to think I've had the rare chance to design something that will spread all around Finland and reach people from all walks of life.
The stamps are issued as a 10-stamp sheet containing domestic no-value indicator stamps.
