   I think it is getting closer. Any thoughts on further improvement on this one?

   I like the 'inner' roll, but what is that grey circle behind the roll?
   If it's the back of the film-roll, then the other elements is out of perspective.

   I like the film strip hanging from the top, usually you see in at the bottom of most film reel icons. I like it, it's different and refreshing.

   How about adding the same thin bevel line that's on the front part of the reel to the back part. I think that's what's throwing me off. Let me know if that doesn't makes sense.

   Also, would a slight shadow help as well? Like the one on your briefcase icon?
