Sea Ice Extent Northern Hemisphere |NH|

The renewed version of one of our most cheered art prints, Sea Ice Extent - Northern Hemisphere. We counted daily ice extent at concentrations greater than 15% for a given day to outline the typical extent for that day. We present the year 1980 when Arctic sea ice formed its maximum amplitude since NSIDC aggregated data, and we compared it with the year 2020 that sea ice reached its historical lows. The time series source is the Sea Ice Index developed by the National Snow and Ice Data Center (NSIDC).
