Tyrol Logo Redesign

The Tyrol Excavation and Trails logo is inspired by the original Tyrol ski resort in Jackson, NH. The owner grew up looking outside his bedroom window at the original sign. The typography in that sign sparks a feeling of nostalgia that brings him back to his roots. I developed a new type based logo that relates to the original, while bringing an updated look and story.

The updated logo is now readable and recognizable at any scale. It is a modern and refreshed version of the original, that represents the professionalism that Tyrol promises their customers.

This logo represents hard work, experience, quality, and professionalism. Without being too high end, the Tyrol type fits right in line with the businesses core roots and values.
