Ruy Lopez – Chess Opening Print
I’ve been casually playing chess since around 2018 and absolutely love the game but the traditional aesthetic around chess has always bugged me. So I’ve been looking for an excuse to make something chess related that’s a bit more elegant and minimalist.
In chess there are a bunch of popular “openings” that are 100s of years old and everyone has their favourite.
I’ve started making this series of chess prints as visual representations of the openings. They are printed on lovely fine art (slightly textured) 200gsm paper and available to buy on Etsy
