Kintsugi Gradient Backgrounds

I am so happy to introduce this set of Gradient Backgrounds inspired by Kintsugi, a Japanese ancient art of embracing imperfection. I loved this philosophy and was excited to apply it to my own artwork.

The kintsugi technique is an extension of the Japanese philosophy of wabi-sabi, which sees beauty in the incomplete and value in simplicity. The broken pieces of pottery were glued together with gold creating an object even more beautiful.

The practice of kintsugi means 'to join with gold' it is a reminder to stay optimistic when things fall apart and to celebrate the flaws and missteps of life.
