Nice! I really like how it focuses on the word "mind". (The organization helps soldiers return home with the assistance they need to re-"mind" and successfully integrate back into society.)
Perfect, you could definitely get the same thing happening with a couple weights of Futura Condensed. Though I do like the flat sides on the M for this lockup, Futura will be slanted like the Myriad you used originally.
Would love to see the big picture Krystyn for some context... but... using a slightly cooler typeface, color for separation, and keeping the word inline might work nicely—especially if you can't stray too far from something existing.
Thanks for all the suggestions — here's the final version.
Kevin's rebound influenced the darkened and desaturated green. I went with Jasons's rebound for font weights and arrangement, and added some depth to the letters as suggested by a a few rebounds here.

Utterly and completely stuck on the type treatment in this badge. Suggestions?

Something with a bit more contrast might work. What's the condensed face you're using on the left?

p.s. The other font is Futura Condensed Medium.

Old friend Helvetica.
Ps. I strongly do not like vertical texts but if this is your direction there is not so much to do...

What if we brought in the rule element you're using on the page to better separate the two parts of the word?

Or a better idea... You can thing that green thing as a finger and put a "reminder ribbon" on it.
Like this.

@Thomas @Eren: Those are both great — I wish I could stray that far from their current logo. :)
@Dave: I like that a lot. I may try that with Jason's weight variations. Thanks guys!

@Jared: Actually, the horizontal/vertical stack is part of their current logo, I think I should stick with it. [link]
I really like these rebounds so far — feel free to experiment where I can't!

Krystyn, Oh I thought it was an action button, like saving stuff for later. So is it the actual logo? Hmm.

I changed the shading and the color on the background element to give more realistic depth.

Avenir light, heavy and a bit more space around the type.

@Jared: Yes-ish. I can tweak it to match this new site I'm working on, but not stray too far.

Change the type to trade gothic and darkened the color with a little hi-lighting.
