Sean Taylor | Football Card Design

With the recent retirement of Sean Taylor's #21 jersey number a bit overshadowed by the Washington Football Team's behind-the-scenes email scandal, a long overdue project of mine as to create a football card concept for the late legend.

The overall design of this card is "fractured", featuring broken text and alternate gold color lines, a nod to the safety's reputation as one of the hardest hitting players in NFL history. The image of Taylor kneeling is a calm moment in the unfortunately shortened career of a player who caused so much havoc on the field. It also features the now defunct logo-mark of the former Washington Redskins.
