Early concept for a dieting application I'm building called Waist Away. I'm keen to use the shape of the initial letters (W & A) to define the outline of a female body, using the negative space in the leading for the waistline.

Reminds me of the Venus of Willendorf - nice idea but not sure a negative body image is a good incentive for dieting, certainly as part of branding.
For many dieters the process is about eating more healthily and embracing a natural body shape and size rather than purely about losing weight.
I'd say instead emphasise the positives (what you can aspire to: lifestyle, dress sizes, health benefits, etc) rather than the negatives.
