Working on a color scheme for a thing. I know I can get better at this.
WHAT WOULD YOU DO TO MAKE THIS COLOR SCHEME MORE COHESIVE/FAMILY?
I'm looking for the emotions of: fun, quirky, spirited, disney, calming

Maybe you'd have to be a bit more specific. I mean I like the colours but I don't what you need them for. They may be beautiful for a say parrot illustration but not if you want to draw a graveyard... :)
If you want to make the jive more, why don't you increase the saturation a bit? :D

Keep it simple, a presentation doesn't need to have every color of the rainbow. Unless there are unicorns involved of course.

In my opinion you should play a bit more with the red because when you squint you eyes together it pops out a bit too much. Otherwise they're fitting perfectly - In my opinion. :)

Try reversing what you have, the inverse colors will compliment the non-inverse colors.

I agree with Max. I think that the red is almost too saturated. And then again, it also matters how the red will be used. Are any of these colors going to be dominant or primary in the projects?
*edit: a salmon color would be a nice replacement for the red.

Wait, Disney is an emotion now? As for the cohesiveness, I think that'll depend a lot on what particular combinations you'll be using. I can see the first two pairing up well, same with the last two. The two in the middle don't make a very good pair at all to my eye, but you may not have intended that.
Mostly, I'm not really sold on the purple, but I can't put my finger on why exactly. Actually, when I put my finger on it (that is, cover the purple section with my finger on the screen), the rest of them seem much more cohesive to me. Maybe it's just one color too many?

One of my favorite tricks = picking some colors and multiplying or burning them over some slight tan or grey-ish color to get 'em to harmonize.

@Rogie - I tend to gravitate toward more muted colors, personally. The only colors that kind of stand out to me are the purple and light blue you chose - think those could be either refined or one of them eliminated. Are you considering any of these colors for copy - if so you might want to grab a darker and less saturated one for heavy body text?

Spirited and calming at the same time? Hmm... :) I'd say overall they could use a bit more saturation, less muted. Certainly not bad, but more purity feels more lively to me.
Maybe try differing values too? With the exception of the navy on the left, the value range is pretty small overall. But maybe that's what you're going for.

Are these accent colors on a light background, or is this is the full color palette?
Also, the blue looks dark compared to the rest of the colors.

I'd make the purple a little darker, closer in saturation and tone to the darker blue (but not too close). The red seems to be too saturated - maybe lessen the saturation and darken the hue a touch?

Rebound Color Scheme for Rogie

Just a little tweaking. The prompt was fun/quirky but also calming, so I kept the blue/grey, and almost the same green. The red felt too dark and the purple too grey, so I intensified them just a bit. The green/yellow/blue all have a similar tone now, the yellow a bit more golden and the green a bit less grey. It's a little brighter, but hopefully the different widths/percentages keep it calmed down enough to still be subdued if it needed to be. I'd imagine with some grey/white and using the red and purple as highlights it could be pretty calm, but on the flip side, using lots of color could make it super playful, too.
