If it were me, I'd go the extra mile and save them in a personal folder. All you have to do is drag and drop to the desktop. Seems like a feature that's too close to an already established one to be implemented. Also, your problem is easily overcome with literally the same amount of clicks: 1.
@Mitch I understand that Likes are similar, but I think Favorites are more precious. I've noticed that I may think a shot is cool, but to savor my list, I'll say "fuck it" and not click "Like". It's not a must have feature, but I thought it'd be a convenient alternative.
Fair enough. I'm in this same situation at times. I want to respect the artist, but don't want that piece of work in my collection (sounds horrible but it's completely not). In this case I usually leave a comment instead. I feel it is of equal value.
Also, drag and dropping is seriously the exact same amount of effort. Sorry, but I'll keep bringing this up. :D
Yeah I mean, I understand your point of view. I have tons of folders for each designer, then I put all their shots inside that. It works, it's just such a pain in the ass.
I guess I could also put links back to the post itself, in the image info.

I hate bookmarking tons of Dribbble shots, or saving them to my desktop and creating a folder. Some way to favorite them would be awesome.

Do you not consider 'Like' to be the same thing? They collect in an area, and you add anything you like. What's the difference?

Yeah! definitely that would be awesome!
@Mitch sometimes I like shots but not always my favorite, and probably not my style ...

@Waseem I'd have to agree.

We all seem to have similar annoyances with this. I'm beginning to think that Evernote would be good for this.
Have any of you guys ever used it for this sort of thing? I can imagining it being perfect.
