Ok, I´m not any kind of logo expert but here is the new logo for my website, its still the rotated 8 but also my initials, suggestions are welcome!

I think it's great!
The upper part of the rotated 8 (black part) I think it would be better if it was the same as the lower part (gray part). What do I mean? the side that is nearer to the text in the black part it's not the same as in the grey one. Just to give a better "connection" between both parts. I'm not an expert, it's just my vision of it =)

I don't know why but i like it :) Inner shadow of the lower part is bit too smooth. I would put more contrast & sharpness. But it's just what i would do. Play with it more and you'll get the right effect.

i like the feel of this in the thumbnail but it loses a little in the larger version. Maybe if you made it look like the bottom part was under water and the size difference in the 2 halves was from the water distortion.
