My first iOS icon work. Still very much in progress. I would love some feedback on this since most of the iPhone icons I see blow me away. Please let me know what you think I could improve! Debating whether to ditch the "socialinkd" text...

looking good so far! my suggestion would be to try it without the lined background... or maybe try to thin out those lines a bit. imo they are a bit heavy, sort of distracts from the logo. maybe try them thinner, or at an angle.

Hi Luke... looks good! I wouldn't ditch the text, I like it. I do agree with Jason's comment on making the lines more subtle.
