Looks kinda like an axe head? Or a weird bell? Digg the style though.

Thanks! They're a tree service company. The mark is suppose to be subtle reference to an axehead, as well as a tree trunk that is being cut. One of the key requirements was that they need a mark that can be used independently from the whole identity (for helmets, etc.)
