Sure thing. Also, I think removing the devices all together might be your best option.
For example, the Email icon works without the iPhone. On the "call" one, you could still keep the phone shape that is on the screen, just remove the screen & device. The card & money icon would work without the device too.
Also I think seeing a generic device might confuse the users a little.
So all in all I think you'd be okay just removing the devices a lot of the icons have a strong and clear metaphor already. That's my thoughts anyway, glad I could help - Good luck!

They look lovely. Nice work, but If you're using these on a iPhone app you're going to need to remove the iPhone's from the icons.
Check these rules. It's a bit strange & unfortunate, but otherwise good work.
