This is what I would imagine our DB layer looks like. Still making some tweaks on this guy. Feels like the shading is not quite photo realistic just yet, but almost there. Suggestions are always welcome of course.

Circular planes become more and more circular as they get further away from the line of sight in either direction. The top of this object suggests that the object is below our line of sight, but the bottom (which would be further from the line of sight) is less circular than the top.
Loving this otherwise.
