1. Pro Jesse Bennett-Chamberlain

   I've tweaked the mechanic so that his back isn't so arched (I got some feedback that he looked like he was going to swallow his wrench like a sword) and changed the "car care" back to Gotham.

   I'm not sure about the colours at this point... just the first combo I put together.

   Thoughts?

   The contrast of the left/right blue cube is quite hard to see. Other than that, I really like the color combo.

   I concur with Maleika on the contrast issue but besides that, great shapes and the font goes very well with it.

   Ahh yes, I really like this. I agree that the color contrast is a little low, but to be honest that doesn't bother me since its not a critical element.

   "car care" feels so, so much better in this treatment.

   By the way, on the colors: I'm pretty sure I'm digging the new blue but its a bit tough to judge against the purple background. Is the purple BG going to be part of the logo or branding?

   Thanks for the feedback everyone.

   @PJ To be honest, I'm not exactly sure if the purple will be involved or not. I'll have to see what they have in options for signage at their location before I make that call I think.

   Imagine a chrome logo on metal-flake racing deep red paint. Like on a 50’s Chevy.

   Anyway, I love seeing the progression on this.

   Is that three different blues, then?
   +1 on contrast issue.
   Also, I liked the script idea, but perhaps a different script was in order.
   Great stuff, Jesse, and I also love Anton's thought about it being a auto emblem. It'd look great like that.
