    Starting with some ideas for my blog design which I'm finally getting around to. Interestingly, I actually started this within a Dribbble sized blank doc - Just to get some ideas going rather than the full design and I like the constraint to keep me focused on one thing.

    Type will change when I get around to code and implementing Typekit. Icons are edited and cleaned up Pictos. Colours will probably change too!

    I like it so far. I probably wouldn't italicise all the text, perhaps just the white text.

    The next thing I would do is see what the legibility of a block of text is. I know my site http://prandall.com/ is a nightmare to read, so I would make that your next move.

    Thanks for the feedback, Paul. I will be focusing on text next and will be doing my best to keep it clean. I may end up inserting a new background for text areas too if it gets too much.
