Currently working up a new website, this is the slideshow thumbnail with the blue highlight as a time indicator for what is shown in the main panel.

Interesting Idea. Why is it so tall?
There is a subtle loading bar above the thumbnail panel (probably need to decrease the opacity) that leaves a trail showing the progress of time spent on each slideshow thumb. The run into the main panel is simply to show relevance.
This looks awesome Leigh! Really love it. I like the height of the bar.
Really like the idea. Will it only show on hover or is it always there?
If it can be implemented I see it appearing when in play mode. Giving indication of time left on each frame (thumbnail) of the slideshow - once it moves past a thumbnail it will continue to become the start of the new thumbnail.
Love this idea, and the realization is great too.
Btw, I really like the Colors

This is the visual stylesheet I am currently working up for a website theme.
Has examples of all the key elements in one PSD e.g. UI, pods, typography structure, universal elements, colour-ways etc. just to make the dev guys jobs that little bit easier. I will put the full sized version up as soon as we get the all clear.

I also like this. Perhaps the blue tracking line is a bit too blue? It is kind of jarring...nice job.
