Out of all the time I spend in Photoshop, I think at least 30% of that is spent playing with opacity. The other 70% is spent staring blankly at the screen.
It's reassuring to know that I'm not the only one. It can sometimes take me a while to settle on a 1% difference on things like opacity and noise - tiny changes but I can't help but fiddle with them!

As advised, I lowered stroke opacity and then inner shadow opacity to match. I think it does look better.
It's hard trying to keep things as simple as possible without adding more and more.
