atl.ua — Purchase Flow

Functional Purchase Flow to Convert Visitors into Users

The products atl.ua sells are very rarely an immediate purchase: usually, the user reviews several different product options and buys more than one product per purchase. They use a shopping cart to save products for later consideration, so when they get back we want to show them up-to-date information on stock, allow them to change product quantity, or easily remove outdated options.

Sometimes, the products might be complicated, the user couldn’t be sure if some option is right for them. That’s why we’ve added the quick purchase feature — the user enters the phone number and gets in touch with a professional who’s called to resolve any doubts.

The checkout process is pretty simple and consists of three steps: contact details, shipping, and payment method selection. The header and footer are simplified so as not to distract the user’s attention.

Before the redesign, the website had a huge share of guest purchases, not resulting in the growth of the user base. We’ve come up with a solution, implementing an invisible and effortless sign-up flow into the checkout process. These resulted in a growth of a conversion rate from the website visitor to the website user.

I would like to mention my fellow teammates Eugene Klochkov and Vladyslav Dobryda who did great job working on this project.
