    A quick update to the UI I posted earlier showing some application concept. This is not a real app more a mockup for an article and a talk I am doing on designing iPhone applications.

    I prefer the brown buttons (by far) but I agree with Jord that the back button looks a bit odd. I think it's the angle—I'd keep the same outer shape that Apple uses and adjust the arrow to fit that.
