Here's what I'm currently working on for my portfolio homepage. A simple, grid-based layout with featured projects in the main nav. Also have a snippet from my last blog post at the bottom, along with a recent tweet, wanting to make the site more social and tied together. FaceBook, Twitter, LinkedIn, and Behance icons on the top right.
Feedback? Wanted to add some more pop (hade some light vintage photography providing some background in another version) but want to make sure it feels clean and the focus is on the work.

Looking really solid. Loving the left (looking to be expandable) menu. The text under "small reflection" is a little hard to read at this size because of the minimal contrast, but overall this looks great.
