Unchosen Disney and Pixar's Luca Movie Title Treatments
Anddd one more custom type solution we developed for Disney Pixar's "Luca". Our brief was to create custom type solutions for the movie that would embody the sun-drenched village, a somewhat undefined retro nostalgia, and Luca’s identity as a sea-monster trying to find his place between shore and sea.
The type is meant to feel a bit funky and free, with the tail fin making a nice home on the L swoop.
None of our concepts were chosen as the final marketed title treatment, but we were overjoyed to be part of the creative team that made it happen. Can't wait to see this movie!
