   Seeing a lot of sites go simple in as far as layout, but actually use more illustration and detailed ones at that. I welcome it. Listen to Anton - he's wise :)

   @Jason--
   Yes and no. It's an old book illustration I found (with all the proper usage right of course) and then modified. I've been doing a lot of 18th C. style drawing recently (for other non-web projects) so finding this base image was all the impetus I needed to push this format to my own site. I'm currently modifying it further to include the tools I use everyday (mouse, tablet, laptop, etc), but not so much that it loses its original charm.
