Roundy and the Moon- Concept Art

This is some concept art for the first scene from a short film I am currently developing. Gonna be a long, long, long road. I think the right edge of the desk where the lighter part is, is too stark against the blue background. I'm not entirely sure what I should do. I'd love some suggestions or reference pieces. I'm going for the Disney-vibe art style.
