Now that I have my old apple bluetooth keyboard up and running again, it is time to get down to some development on the ol' iPad. Of course there aren't any good editors yet, so I thought I would make my own.
Haven't come up with a name yet, but it will integrate a sFTP system, as well as bindings to git and svn. Should be fun.

You're my new hero. And you're going to be the reason I have to buy a bluetooth keyboard soon. If you need a guinea pig, holla.
Oh, and my Like = 5000 Likes. In fact, I cannot like this enough. Dribbble needs to fix that.
The one thing keeping me from going iMac/iPad was a text editor. You sir, have now pushed me over that edge. :)
Thanks guys. I will keep everyone updated as I go. Just in the beginning stages at the moment.
How does one just whip up a text editor app for the iPad? Well done!
It's not as hard as it seems, and this is really only the beginning.
I will buy this :)
its awesome someone is doing this already. I had the same idea and have began designing one in my spare time, just no way I'd be able to develop it.
Re: Git Bindings.
I have no feature requests, other than this looks useful. It will be a while before I own an iPad however, so insert sad panda face here.
I would buy this!
I was going to say I don't get the point, BUT the keyboard makes all the difference. Forgot you could do that!
If you need a beta tester, hit me up please! I wanna code on my iPad so bad!
*signs blank check*
Thats awesome!! :D
Step one towards being able to ditch my laptop altogether for my iPad, coding and photoshop are the only reasons I still use my MacBook Pro.
Looks brilliant! Keep up the good work
If you need a beta tester :D
Dude, I'm in too. This is the best iPad app so far.
Oh yes. Very, very yes.
I can't imagine coding on my iPad :/
I couldn't either until I paired my bluetooth keyboard with my iPad. It changed the game.
