Design portfolio thumbnails

Many design portfolios sites show thumbnails of projects in a grid format. Often times, the thumbnails don't have a consistent visual look, because they were designed to address various problems.

For my portfolio, I explored designing a set of thumbnails to represent my work in a graceful and unified manner. The thumbnails surfaced useful information up front without having to hover over. The color palette was inspired by a Chinese traditional watercolor painting.
