Full-size: Left or Right? That's the question.
    What do you think?

Definitely prefer the right, more focus on the content. I prefer the tab bar from the left though :) Excellent work!

Yup, I agree with Robbie. The version on the right with the active tab style from the version on the left.

I prefer the right, but I think the "selected" state of the nav item seems too subtle.

I love the integrated title & tab bars, but the left has a clearer distinction between the title, nav and content.

In response to Robbie, I think the left has an easier understanding of the content. Both examples have clear focus on the content, though.

Sorry Robbie...just playing devils advocate :)

maybe a combination of both? i like the logo and tab bar from the right but the subtle elements from the left. (ie: reply box, line dividers) I do like the simplicity of the photo stream from the left, but I can see an issue with a long stream title breaking that simplicity, for that i like the right much better.

I agree completely with Taylor. Bring the photo reply button over from the left as well.

The right one, except with more distinct selected states from the left one and with the content division lines/alternate row colors.

i'd say bump up the darkness of the dark links and text on the right one a couple of shades and it will be awesome

Either way, they both look great but I agree with the majority of the posts so far. The texture in the blue bar looks a little trendy, where the one on the right seems sets a more confident tone. It also puts more emphasis on the actual content.

I prefer the right. Colors are more powerful, less distracting. Very clean. Nice blur at the Tab bar by the way.

right definitely. The blue takes away from the photos (and is a little dated) but the right palette sets a neutral canvas for the rich photos to sit on top of.
