I'm in pinch!
I've "just" finished an icon for an up-comming app and I'm not so sure if the icon fits its purpose. I don't want to mention too much, but the application is all about collaboration for the rest of us, so to say.
I thought that a "suit", representing an assistant/servant or buttler would be a good "new/fresh" metaphor for this kind of app.
Now two questions...
A) is the icon a fit?
B) which tie ?

The first tie.
Good Work! But why the checker pattern on the suit? It's a lot of distraction. Maybe rather go for a classical pinstripe? :) And yes, the first tie…
well thx guys
@Harald: 1st: I tried to simulate the suit's fabric on a small space, the pinstripe style is messing with "highlighted" edges on the suit; 2nd: I don't like pinstripe suits :D ...
The left tie looks better :)
left tie :)
Sexy time on the left one :)

left is better.
I like the left tie better, but I would say that this icon represents an executive, not a servant. I see power with the red tie, not submission. I see Wall Street. Just my $0.02.
The icon gives me an idea of fashion. Not a servant. Maybe some concept like the alfred app fits better in the purpose: http://www.olliekav.com/wp-content/uploads/alfred-app-logo.jpg
But besides the purpose, the icon is amazing!

Fantastic. Love the "assistant" metaphor. First tie. Pinstripes on the suit.
