Dan Cederholm once stated that a favicon is "the most important design element of any site" - http://www.slideshare.net/simplyarun/interface-design-juggling (it's in there somewhere). That always stuck with me. I decided to move on from my default Tumblr avatar on my blog and make a few other changes.
