Slowly but surely building onto the blog design. Not quite sure if I'll keep the mobile link though - may just auto serve it but put it in there in case I can't auto detect for various devices.

I know you didn't design the icons but they look great. Only concern with the icons is the mail icon seems a little thick ?

Simple Nav Redux

So I slimmed down the contact icon, altered the transparency of the navigation background and added to subtle shadows to the nav items.
The other difference here being, you can see the intro that's underneath the heading. Not sure/set on the yellow, I'm just looking for a subtle difference to highlight links without resorting to an underline.
