I like em. The light inner glow really and the 1px dark stroke makes em pop!
Question, and I completely understand if you rather not answer; do you make the characters (in this case the names of the creditcard companies) into shapes so you're able to change the shape untill they're pixel perfect? Or do you just play around with Anti Alias-types?
@Yummygum thanks a lot :) the characters are created in Illustrator then imported in Photoshop to be resized accordingly, some of them have been traced from the original logos, for some of the others I was lucky enough to find vector counterparts by browsing on Google Images. Feel free to ask me anything, happy to help :)
@Peter thanks! I made them with the idea of launching them for free originally but @Jonno gave me the opportunity of getting a small return back for my effort ;)
@Dan aha you again :P cheers
@Ryan the wood texture was on flickr, will try to find the link for it
@Michael thanks a lot! Feel free to use or modify them, only 1€ on 365psd.com :)
@Matt thanks a lot!!!
Hi @Jeff, thanks a lot, the only tip I would suggest is to use vector tools (within Photoshop) even when working on small icons like those, keeping them sharp and pixel-perfect :)

I dig =) Did you create the beautiful wood texture, or is it available for the rest of us? Got a project that would be perfect for.

Bought it. I didn't exactly need them (I usually make my own), but we gotta support other designers :) They look great.
In other news, I found the wood texture. Looks nicer than one I was using for something already.

Wow, I wish I had seen these before I did almost the exact same thing in a recent app. I'm bookmarking these for the future.
