looking good, the only thing that bothers me are the rounded corners on the "friends" "piics" and "streams" it just feel odd to me. Other than that, it's looking great.

Cool stuff Robin. From a UX perspective, are the Friends tab and 128 friends button redundant? I'd say kill the top tab, and keep the button with the #. I like the simple choice: Profile v. Activity Stream.
The texture is lovely, but make sure you do a test on non-retina displays to see if it makes it look grainy. I've had mixed results with subtle textures like that when trying to adapt them for the standard display.
Also... random thought: plus next to image... does that mean I'm friending this user? "Add as friend" seems like an egregiously missing button, but I'm guessing that must be it right?
