Been trying to get myself to do design exercises lately. I remember how much I used to play with Photoshop, and all work and no play makes... well you know how it goes.
With the Blu-ray release of Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part 1 approaching, I decided to take a stab at those "minimalist movie posters" that have gotten pseudo popular. Make sure to take a look at the full sized ones to get the complete effect.

I haven't seen the movie, so I can't say how well these tie in (I've read the book, but that's not really helping me with the posters, I guess), but at a glance, it reminds me of an 80s sci-fi movie poster. Like a Tron-alike or something. Particularly the white one.

I should clarify my earlier comment: I listened to the audiobooks and haven't gone back through the book yet. I had flipped through it but didn't remember seeing a symbol like this, so I didn't catch the reference. But it looks awesome anyway!
