Not sure whether the second button is clear enough for "Serif" and "Sans serif"
Maybe I should just make a drop down and let users choose either "Georgia" or "Helvetica" ?

Looks good, I love how smooth the buttons appear. As for the sans/serif buttons... have you considered having the text read "Serif" and "Sans"?
Thanks Tanner. I thought about adding the text, but I'm not sure whether most people would understand what they mean.
People might just be curious enough to just try it out even without knowing what it does :-)
Depends on the audience, but I think a lot of people won't notice the difference between serif and sans serif immediately. At first glance it looked like an uppercase/lowercase selector to me.
