Developer Experience at VMware

Project Eve is VMware's developer experience platform. We're building the documentation platform, tooling, and analytics to help raise the quality of APIs across the company.

The end-to-end story for developer experience spans across automation engineers, virtual infrastructure admins, and external developers. However, this work aims to help VMware developers with an internal analytics platform.

At a company of over 100 products with thousands of APIs, it's critical that our engineers have the right tooling & analytics to quickly find errors, inconsistencies, and gaps in the documentation. On top providing helpful data, the Eve team likes a bit of friendly competition. Our platform ranks APIs by quality and documentation coverage with a leaderboard.
