Beluga Whale

As part of a series of illustrations created to raise awareness of Species at Risk in Canada, I created a pencil sketch of the Beluga Whale, as the St. Lawrence Estuary population is currently at risk. After iterations I inked the sketch with Staedtler pens. I then scanned the image, and digitally coloured/painted the piece. I used Photoshop with standard brushes that I have since customized.
