I've let this design settle for a few weeks now and would love some feedback. The shot above is a close crop of the bottom of a potential personal business card. Being the pragmatic person I am, redundant information really bothers me.
Does the design make sense? My target audience is tech agencies & design firms (read: tech savvy crowd).
Do you like the design?
Thanks again, and as always, I incredibly appreciate any feedback, comments or criticism.
If you're target audience is tech savvy, couldn't you just have "hi@dustinsenos.com"? Any techie would know what your web address, email, and name was (although they might think your name is dust insenos).
I have been working out a similar execution, and I still can't figure it out. I'm trying to show that my email address also has my website and Twitter handle.
Feedback: I think the dotted line is too similar to the colon. Lot of dots.
I'm going to agree with Kyle, if you can't figure out the URL from hi[@]dustinsenos.com I don't think you have the time and patience to work with them.
You could even do something with the colour so that the "dustinsenos.com" part sticks out a little more too.
@Grant I like the globe suggestion, icons never crossed my mind, could look great. Although the www makes complete sense, I force remove www off my domain so it makes me feel wrong suggesting it.
@Kyle I thought the exact same thing and asked folks on twitter. General consensus was to have both. That being said, I didn't outline the target audience so it wasn't the best sampling. Dillon Es suggested combining the two with emphasis on the domain.
@Maleika Thanks for the feedback. I think it could still be executed in a way which would cause less thinking.
@Abel Combining three sounds like quite the challenge. Thanks for the feedback on the dots, looking at it again, I agree she's too dotted.
@Ryan I'll give it another go without showing both. My target audience should know how emails are constructed. I just don't want to have people say "what's your website?" every time I hand them a card.
Here’s a slightly different take on delineating Dustin’s various intertoob addresses using icons. Since the email, web, and Twitter addresses all share common elements, why not mash everything together into the single (and arguably most common) string and then pull them out diagrammatically?

I feel like it might be a little confusing to the less web savvy bunch.

@dew that was my fear. It makes sense to you and I, may not make sense to others.

I would use “web:” or “www.” instead of the protocol to address the less “savvy” issue. Alternately, would you consider using a small globe icon?

Makes complete sense to the audience you're targeting, I'd say.

@Dustin If they say "what's your website?", then you take Ryan's suggestion and snatch the card back ;)
