I got bored last nite around 11pm and thought I'd re-do the Facebook homepage.
It's now Lunch time the next day I got carried away and stayed up all night doing this lol. It was really fun.
Anyway, quite a bit of the architecture is the same just done my way. Added a few features here and there which I think would be better for usability.

This is awesome, The organization is exceptional. I'd try taking off the background pattern in the header. Its a bit distracting. the rest is awesome, especially the light blue row.

The header background reminds me of the previous header on Digg with all of the avatars on blue. Overall it looks great, very clean and smooth design.
$10 for Mashable is a bit high, Pete's nuts!

Looks great. I'd maybe add a light grey bg to the "messages, friends, events" to help differentiate it from the active "news feed".

Lots of ideas here but I'm not sure it's better, it's a 'designers' facebook with all the drop shadow and rounded corners.

Not bad, you should try with a liquid layout, it's time for Facebook to have a liquid layout. Like these guys did.
