I like it! Will you leave the "Explore Cards" wording in place? It could be interesting without the wording. My very very first reaction was to ask whether "Explore" is meant as a command ("Go explore the cards") or a type of card (like, "Trading cards"). Are you also thinking of a preview mechanism behind each card?
@Rasmus Color used to differentiate between groups/suits, but pictograms are also used as an alternative visual fall-back in tandem - in case of color-blindness etc.

It's in there in the visual comp Didier but not in the prototype :) Opted for a more subtle shadow effect in the end.
