Based on some good constructive criticism I toned down the red and the inset highlights. It is definitely tighter Thanks for the feedback @Ted Goas and @Ahmed Chergaoui

I think this red is in the wrong direction. The rest of the UI is calm and pleasant and the red in this is now pretty dark. Maybe something like this: http://cl.ly/5nnF
