For a rough draft, that is sure looking nice, Dan! Well done!
Only thing I would suggest is doing something with the "ribbon" tails. I know the triangle cut is pretty cliche, but it could work well in this case.

Very nice Dan. The one part that is throwing me off are the arrows inside the circle. Maybe try them attached or more subtle?
Also would be curious to see it with the Withersby ribbon wrapping around the circle instead of going off to the sides, so the whole thing is more contained (though this would work well as part of a website header)... or something like Dave said.

Looks like a solid mark!
Couple of minor adjustment suggestions only because you asked:
• The "WITHERSBY" texts needs to be horizontally centered within the gray box.
• The sunburst in the middle has a couple of tiny pieces peeking out from underneath the ribbon that aren't on the top.
Also like Dave said, the triangle cut would work nice since you already have those triangles incorporated.

Looks nice... and while I'm not a logo designer this doesn't really make me think of a band. I'm trying to picture this, say, on a bass drum and I'm just not gettin' there. Yet... Looking forward to seeing future iterations.
