Rev 4:6

Something I made a few months ago. The quote comes from study I was doing on the book of Revelation. Revelation study - week 4 reflections. "and before the throne there was as it were a sea of glass, like crystal." Rev 4:6. There is in this sea depth and transparency, but not the fluidity & instability of the natural sea. When I think of the mystery & indeed, the chaos of the ocean depths - and the darkness that hides all of the unknown - I think of my heart and how dark it's depths can seem. I think of how even in my heart's deep, dark, & chaotic corridors; there is hope. Because, if God can conquer, cleanse, & calm the sea - how much more true is it that He can conquer, cleanse, & bring peace to the heavy, dark depths of me. He is good.
