This is an eszett (ß), one of M. Giovambattista Palatino's glyphs I vectorized for the Colosseo poster.
Take it and make something creative, and then dribbble it. 2 players whose rebounds receive the most likes, and 2 other players whom I choose based on awesomeness, will win an exclusive "martian" edition of my poster, which, coincidentally, was also the product of a rebound. (This poster is not for sale, and only 15 were made!)
Grab the EPS here if you like. Contest ends this Monday, April 12, at 11:59pm EST.
Phweeet!
UPDATE:Contest finalists have been announced. Thank you all for participating!
This is an Indian "Rangoli" for those who are unaware with the Indian traditions. Colored powder "abir" is used to create these on the floor during our festivals, in particular during the Holi. Hope you guys like it.
I'm definitely going to try and come up with something for this (because I really really really want one of those prints).
Although, I'm not sure that measuring by favorites is a completely fair way to judge a winner, for two reasons: 1) Earlier submitted entries have several days to gather fav votes, making it hard for last-minute entries to "catch up" (regardless of quality). 2) People that have a high amount of followers will naturally have the advantage in numbers, getting favs from people that may or may not be following the rebound thread.
With that said, I still love the rebound action that's been happening on dribbble. Great stuff. There's a terrifying amount of talent on these pages.
I agree with Anton on the number of Followers issue. By the way, Craig simply killed it! Woof Woof! Never in my wildest dream could I have come up with that one.
@Anton I agree. I wonder if posting the contest ahead of time with both open and close date/times so everyone has time to prepare something to post at the same time.
I've heard the feedback from some of you, and I agree (mostly). So we'll do 4 winners: 2 for the most likes, which encourages you to make something worth liking, and 2 of my choosing based on a completely subjective awesomeness rating. Play on.
Would love to join these rebound games but by the time some of us get to it, the folks on the home page (set to popular when not logged in) have 100 likes. :-)
The quality of submissions is quite extraordinary, also the scope of imagination and ideas. Thanks Mr C for providing a platform for this Rebound challenge.
I've always wanted to try what Cameron does. I have much greater respect for him and his work now and understand why it takes a year to create a single poster (to do it right, that is).
Looks like it missed the deadline by a few seconds, but hey, might as well share it for fun. They are pink levitating '70s basketball shorts after all!

The detail in Cameron's poster is stunning and laurel wreath worthy indeed. Hence the inspiration for this rebound.
'Laurus Nobilis' is the Latin form for 'Bay Laurel' - the leaf used to make the ancient Olympic crown.
