these error messages are pretty cool! But I don't know if they hold true for any longer messages? Could be great for smaller forms like these, right?

Looks great man! I think another treatment that could work would be putting the error message inside the form itself, that way it would work well even on the zip code field.
@Benjamin Krogh thanks! That would work too but I chose to put the errors above the inputs so they would not cover the user's text. The checks will happen on input blur. For the zip code, the error /would/ cover the label but only after the user knows what the field is. Once they select the input again, the error will go away so they can see the label again.
